Lolay partnered with Retail Benefits, a leading provider of custom loyalty, reward, and engagement solutions, to strategize, develop, and launch mobile applications for iPhone, iPad, Android phone, and Android tablet platforms. This project represented a complete ground-up build, encompassing user experience design, native app development for each platform, and seamless integration with Retail Benefits' existing data and systems through custom API development.
This project involved deep collaboration and expertise in strategy, design, development, and integration, resulting in a seamless and engaging user experience for Retail Benefits' clients and their end customers. The combined team effort led to an elegant solution, beginning with user research and finally assisting Retail Benefits with their go to market of a first class suite of offerings.
- User Experience Design: The teams collaborated with end-users to conceptualize and design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for each platform, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all devices. The focus was on streamlined navigation, clear information hierarchy, and optimized layouts for different screen sizes.
- Native App Development: Engineers at Lolay built high-performance native apps for each platform, leveraging platform-specific features and best practices to deliver optimal performance and user experience. This included utilizing Swift for iOS, Java/Kotlin for Android, and Objective-C for iPad.
- API Development and Integration: Lolay also developed secure and efficient APIs to connect the mobile apps with Retail Benefits' backend data and systems. This allowed for real-time access to member information, points balances, reward programs, and promotional offers, ensuring a seamless and dynamic user experience.
- Solid feature mix: Account management and profile updates, point tracking and real-time balance display, interactive reward redemption with personalized offers and recommendations, in-app purchase capabilities for additional rewards or services, push notifications for program updates, special promotions, and personalized reminders, and location-based services for targeted promotions and store locator functionality
